The Senegalese Embassy, in collaboration with Lerru Kocc and multiple Senegalese community-led organisations in the United Kingdom, is facilitating Wolof language online courses for kids. Tailored for beginners, these classes cater to children residing outside Senegal and are accessible to anyone with GoogleClassroom and Google Meet on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Lerru Kocc (The Light of Kocc) is a cultural promotion company that uses language as a means of cultural integration. It offers language-related services, mainly focusing on Wolof, spoken by more than 80% of the Senegalese population. As its name suggests, Lerru Kocc aims to abolish language barriers to make knowledge more accessible and ensure access to relevant information through language courses, translations and/or subtitling of useful documents.
