The first National Diaspora Day will take place on 17 December 2025 in Dakar. As part of this event, the Ministry of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad is inviting representatives from Senegalese Diaspora Associations to attend.
These representatives—chosen for their active role in promoting Senegal’s economic and socio-cultural development—will be selected based on the eight diaspora voting departments and from countries with the largest Senegalese communities. Equal representation of men and women will also be ensured.
Senegalese Associations that are officially registered with Senegalese Embassies and Consulates around the world are invited to submit the name of their selected representatives.
